Upsolute chip or other chip whit remote on/off

I have been looking at a chip from Upsolute whit the possibility of switching from standard values to "chipped" whit a remote. Does anyone here have tried this chip ? Is there any other chip's whit the option on switching from standard to "chipped" ?
How hard is it to change the chip (I'm not very skilled at soldering, but I'm able to change SMD led's)
