ok, that sounds like a problem with the soundsystem.
The problem is that the amplifier of the soundsystem doesn't get the "ON" signal from the MFD2. This signal is only transmitted via CAN-BUS.
And for this problem there is no solution yet. I don't think you can bridge the signal. So, possible solution:

Hi, ich hab mein Problem folgendermaßen gelöst. Audience raus - Nexus rein. Verstärker ausgebaut und statt des Verstärkers 4 Stück 2-Wege Frequenzweichen je 16 EUR von Conrad eingebaut (damit man die Hoch und Tieftöner getrennt ansteuert). Funktioniert einwandfrei und klasse. Geringe Einbußen hast du nur bei der max. Lautstärke da das Nexus ja nur 25 Watt Ausgangsleistung hat. Ansonsten funktioniert es aber top.

=> disassemble the amp and replace it by frequency switches (high-pass for the tweeters and low-/mid-pass for the other speakers. The disadvantage is, that you don't reach the loudness of the soundsystem including its appropriating amp.)

But I think some people are working on that problem!

Take a look at my first post in this thread; there i've explained, that you will have no sound without this (or something equivalent) CAN-Bus-Interface like Dietz sells.
The problem is, that the amplifier of the soundsystem get the order to power on from the original radio; when you fit in a not Skoda radio, the amplifier dont receive any command.
In this case the scope of the Dietz-Interface is to switch on the amplifier, so you will have sound.
Otherwise nothing happens, because every 12 loudspeaker were "behind" the amplifier!
Now its clear to you???

hmm, that's not good. Maybe there are similar CAN-interfaces for the Octavia 2, I don't know.

Richditsch! DIE haben >bisher< keine (sagen wir mal praktikable) Lösung gefunden......

Der Verstärker des Soundsystems gibt nur Töne von sich, wenn er vom Radio das Einschaltsignal über den CAN bekommt. Sonst spielt sich NICHTS! ab. Es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit, den Verstärker "hardwaremäßig" einzuschalten, da die Endstufen mit dem Controller im Verstärker über einen I²C-Bus kommunizieren. Und der Controller hebt das Mute-Signal nur auf, wenn er über den CAN das passende Signal bekommt.
Deshalb ist (momentan) die einzige Lösung der Dietz-Adapter der 3. Generation.
Der sendet das erforderliche Einschaltsignal.
Nachteil: >relativ< teuer (um die 200 Öcken) und ist vom Leistungsumfang her auch mit Kanonen auf Spatzen geschossen.

Ich bin immer noch am Suchen und Basteln für einen einfachen "Generator" für das Einschaltsignal.
Mein Problem: Ich bin ein Hardware-Freak und habe mit Software und Controller-Programmierung nicht viel am Hut. Aber ich gebe nicht auf!

Hmm, d.h. wenn man wüsste, welche Signale über den I²C-Bus gehen, könnte man mit einem einfachen µC leicht selber ein Interface basteln?
Das wäre einfach und geschickt. Müsste man bloß noch den Zustand des Radios in Erfahrung bringen. 200 Euro sind wahrlich zu teuer.

how much is Dietz Adapter ??? Ive spend 700€ on MFD2-DVD can´t spend much more :( otherwise I will sell it lol

So for your application to expensive, I think ?
TorstenW is working on a cheaper solution...either you can wait and use your old radio or you have to sell your MFD2
